Today we will talk about love again. Do you still have love in your heart right now? If you don't, be careful, maybe God is not in your heart, because He is love!
Actually, we have so many perfect example about love in our life. Just talk about puppy love or maybe true love. Jesus should not be your puppy love. He is your true love. And this is what bible says about true love. John 15:9-17!
"Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends."
-John 15:13-
It's Jesus. He lay down His life for His friends (us, read verse 15, he calls us as His friends!). He has the perfect love.
How to Love Jesus?
"If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love."
-John 15:10-
So it's the point of loving Jesus. And what is His command?
"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you." (12)
"This is my command: Love each other." (17)
Jesus discussed it 2 times in the same time. He want to tell us how important this one. So, just love each other.
How to Keep Your Love in Jesus?
Before continue to this topic, let's tell ourselves "What Can Make We Loss Our Love?" Problems in life? Daily activity makes me tired? People talk to much about me? Gossip? My friends is always makes Jesus as a joke? What people say if I don't do this? If they can do that, why I do not? and others. All of the things can make us loss the love. Losing love means losing God! Realize that. So, how to keep our love in Jesus?
#1 Use Your Sword
Do not care about what human do or what human say. We are belonging to Jesus, so just hear what Jesus say. It means, understand the bible more. Evil always come to attack our mind. They try to attack our helmet of salvation. When we loss it, we will loss our chance to go to Heaven. But, do not worry, because we have shield of faith and also sword of Spirit. Many people use their shield but not many still using their sword. If we only use our shield (faith), the evil will stay attack us, because we do not attack them back. When we use our sword of Spirit (Words of God, read Ephesians 6:17), we attack them back. They will go to us. The effort of the evil will be ended. They cannot do anything, because we know the truth, what bible says. So, number one is your your sword.
#2 Rely on Jesus.
After you know about the truth, you need to do it. First, now what is your problem. Do not make evil confuse you of what you feel. If you loss your love because you are worry, read this.
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
-1 Peter 5:7-
If you feel so disappointed of your partner in serving God, just realize that we are working for God, not for human. No one verse in bible say that we are serving for human. We are serving God. Think about it.
If you feel very upset because you cannot do anything when people talk about you and your Christianity, realize that Jesus look after you. Besides, God can defend Himself! Do not care of what man say. Maybe you think, if I do not do this, what will the people say? Big N and Big O, NO! Think, If I do this what will Jesus say?
That's the point of relying on Jesus and love Him. Just rely on Him. It's enough. Do you believe in Him? It a very fundamental question that many Christians forget to answer. So, just answer this question, and everything will be okay. Jesus Loves You so much!
